Dr. Chan Yung Kim and his wife Patricia have been on the mission field since 1970. They have served on the Korean peninsula, China and Vietnam. They are the parents of four natural and five adopted children.
Dr. Chan Yung Kim, a native Korean, graduated from Johnson Bible College with a Bachelor’s degree, Cincinnati Bible College with a Master’s degree and Han Yang University with a Ph.D. degree. He also received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from Louisville Bible College. Dr. Kim served as President and Professor of Han Sung Theological Seminary for twenty-five years. His past ministries include Christian education, pastoral counseling, church planting and orphanage work.
Patricia Ann (Cox) Kim, mother of four, and caregiver to many children attended Johnson Bible College. Since 1970 she has worked fervently for the rights and needs of orphaned children providing medical care, clothing, food and emotional support. She has also been involved in mobile medical ministry, prison ministry and language education. She is well known as an inspirational speaker and spends her time in the United States speaking at conferences and retreats. In 1986 she and her husband received the Distinguished Service Award from Johnson Bible College.
