The Burning Heart Ranch is located in the grounds of Hope Farm. It was designed to allow the children of the school a place to feel the presence of God under the therapeutic program of Hippotherapy. The name is derived from Luke 24:32, "They asked each other, were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us."
Hippotherapy utilizes the benefits of the horse for individuals with physical, emotional and learning disabilities. It has been shown to improve self-esteem, balance, muscle tone, coordination and motor development in addition to being fun.
