CRAM Worldwide in cooperation with the city of Rajin’s Ministry of Health made an agreement to open a medical clinic that would serve the four neighboring villages with a population of two thousand.
The construction began in 2003 and was completed in November of 2004. The clinic is currently treating up to seventy patients per day with a staff of six doctors and two nurses. The following services are available: pediatrics, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pharmacy, minor surgery and dentistry. In addition to providing primary care an emphasis is also placed on preventive medicine and education.
