The Canaan Kindergarten is located outside the Rajin city limits in a fishing village called Shin Hae Ri. It is staffed by three teachers and has fifty children in attendance. The facility has four classrooms, kitchen, dining room and playroom along with an outside playground. Daily lunches and snacks are provided. At the start of each new term, the children are provided with new outfits including shoes, socks, toothbrushes, toothpastes, towels, and blankets.
