The Blankets for Children Project was started in the winter of 2004. Three hundred blankets were sent into North Korea to be used by the kindergarten children and staff, medical clinic personnel and patients and farm workers. One hundred blankets were also allocated to China at the Hunchun Special Education School to be used by the children. The blankets are furry in texture and of double thickness costing twenty-five dollars each. This project will be ongoing each winter for both China and North Korea.
